Valve je zvanično objavio nominacije za Steam Awards 2024. Glasanje će biti otvoreno tokom Zimske rasprodaje koja počinje 19. decembra u 19:00 po našem vremenu.
Nominacije za Igru godine su Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers II, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl i Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
Kategorija “Labor of Love” nagrađuje igre koje su nastavile da dobijaju apdejte nakon izlaska, a nominovani su Baldur’s Gate 3, Dota 2, Elden Ring, No Man’s Sky i Stardew Valley.
Glasanje za finaliste biće otvoreno tokom Zimske rasprodaje, koja traje od 19. decembra do 2. januara, s tim da se glasanje završava 31. decembra kada će i pobednici biti objavljeni. Iako su ove igre svakako dostojni kandidati, neki igrači nisu zadovoljni što Steam nije uključio više indie naslova.
